Fry them in a pan till both sides are browned then pour applesauce or sliced apples on top. Cover and simmer on medium or low heat for a while, like a half hour or so. Serve with wild rice and have a wild night!!!

i get a box of shake and bake and follow the directions. i think it's basically the same thing as you did only with the shake and bake instead of flour. they're really good like that though.

I like to brown pork chops on the stove-top first, then put in oven-safe dish, smother in BBQ sauce and bake until tender.. . OR. . Brown them first, then put in casserole dish with a lot of sauer kraut, then bake until tender.

Hey, your bf is just lucky you cooked for him lol! :) i'm impressed you fried them....i've never fried them myself, just cooked them in a pan on the stove, or in a crock pot...they do come out nice and tender from the crock pot (6-8 hrs on high, and you can pour some sauce or soup in with them to give them more flavor, like golden mushroom soup, etc.)

Tell you the truth I have never had them like that either. Might give it a whirl, thanks. I simply either fry them or roast in the oven.

ONe of my favorites...fry pork chops in a hot frying pan with a little oil (olive or vegetable, whichever you prefer)until browned on both sides (golden brown, not too dark), then add equal amounts of Italian dressing and your favorite BBQ sauce (for 4 chops, I use 3/4 cups of each, mixed together in a measuring cup), add some chopped onions, cover and simmer about 15-20 minutes. Another variation of this same recipe is instead of Italian dressing and BBQ sauce, use your favorite salsa and do it the same way. Extra onions are optional in both recipes.. Enjoy! :)

I make mine the same way you made yours, except I put lots of salt on them between the egg and flour. . Sometimes we grill them if they are thick. That's pretty good. . Another thing I do sometimes is heat oven to 350 and place the chops in a glass baking pan - salt and pepper real good. I put a stick of margerine in the pan and cut up onions and put that all over the top of the chops. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven for about 45 minutes. I think that's good! My family does too.
