Makes 10 Servings. . 2-1/3 cups coarsely crushed soda crackers (1-1/2 tubes from package). 2 pounds lean ground beef. 1/2 pound breakfast sausage patties. 1 large egg. 2 medium onions, chopped. 1 medium green bell pepper, minced. 3/4 cup ketchup plus 1/4 cup for the top. 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. . 1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. In a heavy-duty, plastic food-storage bag, place the crackers, seal, and roll over with a rolling pin until crushed but not powdery.. . 2. Take any rings off your fingers and send them to me! In a large bowl, with clean hands, mix together all the ingredients except the 1/4 cup ketchup for the top. Mix thoroughly but lightly, being careful not to pack the meat too much. Place in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan and shape into a loaf. Cover with aluminum foil.. . 3. Bake in the 325 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove the foil. Spread the top of the loaf with the 1/4 cup ketchup. Bake, uncovered, another 60 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.. . 2.~~~~~******. . Ingredients. 2 lbs Ground chuck . 1 Large onion, finely chopped . 1 cup Breadcrumbs . 2/3 cup Chili sauce or ketchup . 2/3 cup Parsley, finely chopped . 1 tb Worcestershire sauce . 3 Eggs, lightly beaten . 1 tsp Salt . 1/2 tsp Black pepper . . Preparation. Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix with your hands until well-blended but not overmixed.. . . . . . Fill lightly greased 9 x 5 inch loaf pan with mix. Put pan on baking sheet and bake until meat is firm and has shrunk from the sides of the pan, about 1 1/4 hours. Pour off excess fat and let sit 15 minutes.. . 3.. . 2 lb meatloaf mix (beef, pork, and veal). 1 cup cooked oatmeal. 1 cup finely chopped onion. 1/3 cup finely chopped fresh parsley. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 large eggs. 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/2 cup chili sauce (ketchup-based) . . . . Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 350°F.. Mix together all ingredients except chili sauce using your hands. Transfer mixture to a 13- by 9-inch glass baking dish and mound into a 10- by 5-inch oval loaf. Spread chili sauce over meatloaf and bake 1 hour.. . . Good luck and happy eating
