Here is one for braised short ribs. In a large skillet or dutch oven brown shor ribs on all side. Take them out and set aside. Add olive oil,any veg. oil well do, add 1 large onion sliced thin, 1 cup celery and 1 cup carrots. Add short ribs and 1 29oz of tomato's, and 2cups beef stock or broth. cover and cook till ribs are tender.. This is real good served with roasted garlic mashed potato's
