The HIB process is quick, and is the usual route taken by employers; but employers more committed to them would take them through the Labor Certification process, which is about 5-7 years process.. . Your friends must impress potential employers a lot for the employers to want to keep them - and go through the expense of sponsoring them. The sponsorship process is not cheap and it is not easy.
