i think what you need to do is gather all the information for the second amendment and write it like a fifth grader would like not with to much detail, also you have to look into what the second amendement is and also it could have some information that may revolve around 5th grade level. good luck. hope i helped

Eww, what a yucky thing to have to do.... . Can you work in the midnight ride of Paul Revere? 5th graders should know that story. Then explain that the second amendment allows us the ability to protect ourselves if we were to be invaded.. . I would stay away from anything related to the war, or at least touch lightly, as I would want to refrain from scaring them in anyway. You never know what might spook kids.
