Best answer
No problem - you will still get it. Even if you were to take out Canadian citizenship later, you will still get your social security because you would still be a US citizen. You don't give up your American citizenship if you take out Canadian citizenship.

You get it whether youre a citizen or not... Many Canadians do that... They come down here work a number of years and get both, the canadian health care and the american social security.
