They are unhappy an in their sorrow they say all kinds of things. Probably in the case of an expected sorrow, such as death of a near and dear one for whose life they have prayed creates a feeling in them that God is dead, and hence their prayers went unanswered.. . It needn't necessarily be death, it could be anything.. ts

because he really is.. . No offense, I am a catholic but after having a discussion about the radical bible, I now believe that the God catholics we catholics are refering to is dead.. . The idea of having God in heaven, creates a distance between him and the believers. It makes God unreachable. The reason why we are indifferent. I do believe that that God in heaven who waits for us is already dead.. . The true God who is still alive is the one who is with us everyday. The one who is being refered to in the footprints on the sand. the one who is with us, inspires us, guides us, copmforts us, protects us.. . I am not anti-Christ. I truly believe in him just not as the person in heavens but who goes with me everyday. Carries me when I am in burden and comforts me when in pain. The God who is alive is in me. Empowers me.

they see that the world is falling apart and god is suppose to save all, or something like that, and see that the problems are still well and alive. . . incase you were wondering, the philosopher who said that was Friedrich Nietzsche.

The reason that people use those exact words is that its a quote from Nietzsche. Its not hatred. Its just one man's way of thinking that has touched a chord with many people. . . If you don't like his way of thinking, fine but by criticizing this idea so harshly these people are saying more about themselves than they are about him. . . Where is the love and the tolerance that Jesus talked about? Maybe thats why this little sentence exists? Ever thought about it that way?. . This is a famous line from a famous philosopher. Perhaps try reading some Nietzsche before you condemn him. You are welcome to object but please know what you are objecting to first.. . Maybe you prefer the Mad magazine version:. . 'God isn't dead, he just got the hell out of here'
