Explain the meaning of the phrase 'to fly in the face of God'

It is a euphamism for giving battle or resistance to nature.. If you have a disease that will claim your life and you combat it with medicine or technology - you are resisting nature.. . You "fly in the face of God"

it means God is in everything.God is a flower,a fish,a rock,a person...why?because i think God is the endless energy...and our life energy is coming from his energy;we are,all the part of the God that's why the phrase says' to fly in the face of God'.

Flying symbolizes freedom. Flying in the face of God means trying to spite him by being free against his will.

I would think that you are blessed, GODSPEED is another term I use and have heard as well! Humility is extremely important a penitent man is humble, he kneels before GOD! Don't get your flying wings on without this in mind!

To "fly in the face of" anything means to challenge, go against it, resist it, deny it, etc.. . (Another common phrase is, "to fly in the face of prevailing wisdom" -- i.e., to do something that is not conventionally wise).. . So this phrase means to challenge God's seeming intentions or declaration, be disobedient, and so on.
