My king, Christ Jesus is already sitting on the right hand of God. I will not vote against him for some flawed rulership by a man.

I've done my homework on the candidates--but for the next few days I will pray about what the Lord wants me to do in the voting booth. He already knows who's going to win anyway.

Christians today must remain neutral and not get involved. We must not put our trust in human rulers.(Psalms 146:3) Our allegiance is to God and his government only. The Bible says that man was not meant to rule over man. . ( Ecclesiastes 8:9 ) We must obey the laws of governments as long as they do not conflict with God's laws. We maintain the same position as Jesus' apostles: "But Peter and the apostles answered and said, We must obey God rather than men." (Acts 5:29). Human governments will soon be put out of existance and will be replaced by God's government which will rule over the entire earth. When you say the Lord's prayer and ask for God's Kingdom to come, that is what you are praying for. . The new government will last forever as seen at Daniel 2:44--". "And in the days of these kings(current human rulers) the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever." . Christians should not put their trust or confidence in political governments or rulers that God will soon overthrow. We need to look to God's Kingdom as the only hope for all mankind.

I don't vote according to my religious beliefs solely like many do for some odd reason. I vote according to the candidate who is MOST aligned with my ideals and beliefs as a whole. My religious beliefs are only a PART of my basis for voting for a candidate. And I already voted by absentee ballot.

Religious beliefs shouldn't effect how you vote, you vote because you share the same opinions as one of the guys running, not because you share the same religion.
