Mostly I like looking for answers. My questions seem to get over-analyzed and read into and I'm accused of making a point, being a believer or non-believer of various religions...and sometimes I get an answer.. . I'm here because I think a person's beliefs are the most interesting thing about them.

I feel like you do. Some of my questions have been to sincerley learn something, but others have been to make a point, wich sometimes still doesnt get across. I havent asked any in a LONG time.

Those who are trying to make a point instead of asking a question may not be earnestly seeking an answer, they may however be earnestly seeking approval or agreement of their opinions. A lot of people out there just want someone to hear them out, regardless of whether it is a question or to prove a "point".
