What are some part-time jobs suitable for teenagers and the reasons for choosing them?

as a teen, you would probably hate working in a restaurant where you aren't even given minimum wage. try a store that you like to shop in, that way you can use your employee discount to stay cute. oh, and don't spend all your money in that store but thats easier said than done.

I would suggest thinking of a service that you can do. Advertise this service on local craigslist or put ads up at the market or library or let others know through word of mouth. You can grow this business as small or as large as you want. It could be some thing local or you could buy items and resell them on ebay for example. Use your imagination. When I needed to save for college in the mid 70s, I raised and sold the offspring of many pairs of cockatiels to pay for my degrees. Good luck.

I work at Barnes and Nobles and I enjoy it there. The job isn't hard, there's not much that could go wrong unless you have mean management. And the wages I receive are good.
