The areas affected by tsunami in india are entire stretch of coastal tamilnadu, southern coast of andhra pradesh and parts of southern coast of kerala. The changes that followed are very heavy rain experienced during north east monsoon in mumbai and flooding due to hea. vy downpour during south west monsoon in tamilnadu last year.

Places affected:. North eastern coast of Tamilnadu. Eastern coast of AP. preacautions made:. There were relief measures taken. Those who were affected were given places to live. A cost of nearly 5crores was given by the government. changes made. For nearly an year people were not allowed to go near the coasts. if there was any earth quake peole were made to know it well in advance
