How can I find information on real estate agent commission rates in Toronto, Ontario, Canada?

Each individual agent will charge different amounts based upon their level of service. There is no "standard" commission rate. Phone a few in your area to find out what they charge. They will often request an in person meeting to tell you though-most won't tell you over the phone.

call local realtors in the area you are looking to buy/sell in...in the US, there are no laws that state a "standard" commission rate. not sure about canada though. best bet is to check with local realtors. ask them what they charge...
