RAR is just like a ZIP file. It is multiple files bundled into one. There are no players, only extractors.. . Whenever I need to extract a RAR file, I use WinRAR.

actually, RAR is a compressed file, like ZIP. You need to download something to uncompress it. I use wrar351. Or at least that's the name of the .exe... I'm sorry, I don't remember how I got it. I think I linked from the Wikipedia entry on RAR.
