Also, some psychotropic drugs make you prone to heatstroke and since they can also have a diuretic effect, adding caffeine increases the chance of further dehydration and intensifies the chance of heatstroke in hot weather.

Caffiene should be avoided in combination with psychotropic medications. Caffiene will temporarily increase the circulation of blood in the brain, like a blood thinner. If there is any improvement in mental cohesiveness or lucidity, it is short-lived and often followed by a worsening of symptoms.

It woudl depend upon what kind of psychotropic medications. I know myself, when I used to take anti-depressants and caffeine, it was like being a bit manic. It seems "2 uppers" are too much.
