My choice. I elected government work with limits on the pay in exchange for paid vacation that I am actually expected to use, good benefits, and hours that allow me to never miss a child's softball, soccer or football game. If I were in the private sector there would be no limits on income. I would have the chance to get rich. However, I would probably never have a meal with my kids or watch a choir performance. The day I carried my daughter off the field when she twisted her ankle playing soccer was one of the best days of my life because she needed me and I was there. I would never trade that for money.
