people celebrate AFRICAN AMERICANS history in Febuary because of slavery and all the things we had to go through. So we can have something to look back at and see where we came from. So other races can see how much we have achieved over the years.

The only person I worship is God. So I guess you mean about aknowledging afro-american history and civil rights personalities. They are part of American history and helped build what this country is today.

I don't have a clue what you're on about, probably because I don't live in America, but I respect people of all colors all times of the year as long as they respect me too. I hope you dig!

I would not call it worshiping blacks. I look at it as remembering your culture or reflecting on your heritage. Whites get a whole 11 months to celebrate their culture and their hertiage. So why not give black at least one month. It might be the shortest month in the year but hey its a month. I can not answer for everyone who might answer this question but i can answer for myself. I celebrate black history month because it helps me remember who I am and where do I come from. Celebrateing black history month answers my questions to why this are they way there are now or how things became the way they are today. If it was'nt for the advancements people made back then we would not be where we are today.

1. It's spelled February.. . 2. I don't know of anybody worshiping blacks during this month.. . 3. February is Black History Month, so what you consider worship may simply be celebration of historic figures.

I've never heard of race worship before. But February is black history month. It's in February 'cause Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln both have birthdays in February.

I never heard of anyone worshiping blacks. I thought it was just a month for appreciating the accomplishments and culture of blacks.. . I like this myself, because I LOVE all cultures, and think we should celebrate all cultures from time to time!

I agree with all the others. I do not worship anyone but God either.. . However I do not mind at all celebrating the African American culture. Thought you might enjoy some of the wonderful things that African Americans have given us.. .
