The other answers are all good, but if you are asking how to do it legally, you need to check your state's laws and cases, and if you can't, you really need to check with a lawyer who does evictions.. . Another way is to change the locks when they are out.. . Not all state allow self-help evictions, so if the in-laws are likely to go to a lawyer if you try to throw them out, you really do need to chack with a lawyer in your area.

Anytime someone has overstayed their welcome, you need to tell them. If they announce they were planning on staying longer, offer to make a reservation at a hotel, but that you need to carry on with your normal life. Be firm because some people just don't get the hint.

You flat out ask them to. It is your house and they have to respect that. I had this same problem last year with my brother in-law, but I solved it by being upfront with him. We are still great friends. :)

Go 2 the local pet store and buy a big hairy spider and an aquarium put said spider in it with a lid . invite said people over and have them admire it. then ask them over to eat but in the mean time take the spider back to the pet shop and move the lid off of the aqu. and act like it must have just gotten loose and could they help you find it!everytime they come over repeat lost & not found!
