What makes fraternal twins unique or interesting?

They're not always opposite gender. "Fraternal twins" can mean the opposite of "identical twins". Sometimes called dizygotic, it means that although they are twins, they developed from two different eggs, not one. They therefore share only 50% of their genes (the same as any two non-twin sibs), rather than 100% that identical twins share.

My fraternal twins are boys. And they are special because one looks just like my husband and the other one looks just like me. They are special because no matter how far away we put them in their crib they will scoot towards each other and cuddle. They are special because when they laugh the whole world and all the stress of life melts away. The only person who would ask why fraternal twins are special has never had them. If they did they would understand.
