if you have a firewall try disabling it temporarily or uninstalling it completely(temporaraly of course). if you recieve her mail again that would be the cause. also your client which ever you use(outlook express,incredimail,ect,ect) could be configured incorrectly.incase that is the problem, then contact your isp and ask them what your settings should be set to. i assume your not talking about a web based account.
