Roxio Easy Media Creator will burn to a CD as a VCD. The quality is low and the playtime is short due to CD size.. If you are talking about a full length vidio (movie) - it ain't gonna happen!!!! Not enugh space on a CD.

You Need To Make Sure Your PC Has A DVD Burner Not Just A CD Burner. If You Have A DVD Burner Buy Either DVD-R Or DVD-RW Disks The DVD-RW Are Rewritables Which Means You Can Burn Something Then Erase It. Then Use A DVD Burner Software Most Likely If Your PC Has A DVD Burner It Will Open The Appropriate Software.

you can put mpeg3 (or something..) vids on a CD-R that will play on your DVD player. you don't need a DVD burner, although those would give you better quality.. Windows media formated files will not play on DVD players, although maybe some of the more expensive ones might.. theres a program called DVD ripper (DVD magic?) from Cosmi thats lets you burn most DVDs and format them as Divx (which SOME dvd players will play), or as MPEGs.. yay.

First of all, a DVD player only plays DVDs, not CDs(only music CDs in some cases), so you have to get a DVD burner and burn them onto DVD-R discs.
