Common sense is the concept that most people have general sensibilities that allow them to determine proper actions in a situation. Of course, sense many act without "common sense," it apparently is not all that common. Also, reasoning that takes a "common sense" approach can be wrong, because it may oversimplify an issue. Communism is a good example. It is structured on common sense of people in society supporting one another and working toward the common good, the way we all should be. But government is all about dealing with the human element, and this "Common sense" ignores this fact. It is blind to both system abusers and the inbuilt desire of a man to succeed and better himself. This is the very power of capitalism. When dealing with a complicated issue, common sense can be wrong. But ultimately, common sense means what is generally accepted as reasonable.
