How can I effectively treat a persistent sore throat?

I don't know how long you've had the sore throat, but I would go see a doctor. It could be strep throat, which can only be treated with antibiotics. If you leave strep throat untreated, the bacteria can attack your heart.

Suck on an aspirin. If that doesn't work go to the doctors you might have an infection.

What works for me is just salt in a glass of water and rinse mutiple times. Try it morning and night and I believe you will see results.

You have to go to a doctor or clinic. You may have an infection and only a Antibiotic may clear it up. I would not rule out Strepth Throat. Please see a Doctor as soon as you can.

Okay,suck on coagh drops all the time for about 3 days. After that go see a doctor,because you probaly have an infection
