Why do some people believe that liberals don't fully understand the concept of free speech?

Do you even understand the word liberal? The conservatives are the ones who are trying to shut down all free speech. They want total control of the media. Free speech can hurt the "Right". It's the "Left" that wants you to speak your mind about openess. Not just the jibberish that the Bush Nazi's want you to think.

uh... cite what you're referring too... I keep up with the news fairly closely, with many different sources and I've never seen anything to back up what you're saying... . . BUSH IS OVER THE FCC... IT'S A GOVERNMENT AGENCY... REPUBLICANS HAVE A MAJORITY... BUSH AND REPUBLICANS AREN'T LIBERAL... AND TRADITIONALLY CONSERVATIVES HAVE PUSHED FOR REGULATIONS? . . where is the confusion?
