When and how did you discover the truth about Santa Claus?

I was seven and my cousin told me that santa was a fag and that her mom shot the easter bunny.....oh and that I was also adopted!(In case anyone is wondering I was not adopted)

When my brother accidently opened my present and my parents defended him saying that present was actually his and I asked them how did they know since it was Santa who was supposed to be giving the presents to us.I was 10 then.

It's wierd I don't remember ever really believing in Santa. I played along with it cos it was fun and exciting but I really can't remember ever believing :(

I always knew. My parents never let me forget that it was them that bought my present. However, I have a 14 year old who still believes! I think it's great for kids to believe in magical good. There's so much real bad.

i was like 5 or 6 i was sleeping n i opened my eyes n saw my parets sitting in frnt of the christmas tree n talking n my mom was wrapping my present n she was talking quiest shes like i hope she will like it n stuff n i was like omgggggg n when she looked at me i closed my eyes so she will think im sleeping n i heard the whole converstation abt how their gone lie to me n i just opened my eyes n started screaming im like u guys being leing to me all this years n i was crying n my parets were like kkk calm down now u know.
