When everybody wakes up, its normal that the first thing they do is go to the bathroom. Well the "tent is pitched" because having an erection prevents a man from urinating when he is in the stages of waking up.

I think you want to say guy= men aged less than 25years old.. normally peak level of testosteron (male sex hormone)occur normally at the very late end of night or near very morning. I dont know why, but its a Normal process (Guyton's Human Physiology). and in that time "pitching a tent" is normally observed.. . Estimated peak times of testosterone production will vary from puberty through the mid-twenties. Then, the gradual slide begins, unnoticeable for the most part over the next few decades.. http://www.medical-advisor.org/Testosterone.php?keyword=level-testosterone&engine=google&contextual=no. with the aging process it will disappear.. . Thanks for a giving a good answer of my question

It is not possible to "pitch tent" without some level of mental or physical stimulation. For one, he may have been sleeping on his stomach and his thing may have been pressed onto the bed causing some stimuli, OR he may have been dreaming OR his pyjamas may have been caressing his thing.

This answer is a summary of the entry "Why do men wake up in the morning with an erection?" from the book "Why Do Men Have Nipples?" by Mark Leyner and Billy Goldberg, MD. . . Erections (more scientifically called nocturnal tumescence) occur during REM sleep and are spontaneous. Erections can sometimes happen spontaneously without any stimulation, and morning erections are examples of this phenomena.. . Hope this is helpful! :-)
