The body is healing and building itself while you are asleep, and it happens to most men. It's a good thing, and very impressive when you're married. (Wow, my hubby get's it up for me first thing in the morning! What a guy!) But the truth is, it's just your body healing and building itself. And, yes, it's a good thing for that stuff to work down there like that! :)

Because from storing urine in your bladder all through the night, i guess it just is anxious to let it out in the morning. Dont worry, everyone has it

Morning wood is not because you are horny, although you might be. The reason for morning wood is to stop you from wetting the bed before you awake. Did you ever notice that you can't pee when you are hard? That's the reason.

I have no basis for this opinion but.... I think is is the body's way to avoid peeing in your pants. You see, it is very difficult to pee with a hard-on, it may also close the little valve that lets urine or semen out of the bucket, you know, the reason it takes a little while to pee after you have an orgasm?

It's because the really totally amazing thing about our bodies, is that we have what's called voluntary control like running, for instance, and our muscles respond by working. Or involuntary control, like breathing, our lungs will work without our thinking about it. So men have voluntary behavior, for instance, when males ejaculate, the "launch sequence" can be voluntarily started, but erections (wood) are involuntary like in the morning, and also during sleep, off and on during the whole sleep cycle. The involuntary part of us has evolved to make sure that we continue as a species and survive. The voluntary aspect allows us, well, to have fun, make choices, accomplish things, etc. When I was in Medical school learning all of this information, I really thought it was so completely amazing, and it's great you asked the question, because you must thing it's amazing too!
