How can I set Windows Media Player as the default media player on my computer?

On a XP computer you open the start menu and look at the right section of the menu. There should be a category that is called Set program access and defaults. you click custom and scroll to default media player and selct windows media player

rt click on a music file...point to open with then choose program then windows media player then check the box saying always use this program to open this type file

Right click a video file, select "Open with" then click "Choose Program"... Click on Windows media player and then tick the box "Always choose this program for this file type"

The best way is open Media Player.. Go to . Tools tab. Options. File Types tab. Put a check in each box.. Click OK. Then media player will open everything.. E

well click on a media file, right click it, then it will say "open with" then you click WMA, and everything else will be made opened with WMA
