YOU NEED TO TAKE HER OUT FOR A WALK before going to bed. as she gets older she may get up at 3am to be let out

Doesn't sound normal. I don't think most dogs would urinate where they are sleeping. I would take her in to be checked out at the vet.

Do you take her out right before bed? This may be a solution. . I personally would have her checked by your vet, like a child at 8 years this really shouldn't happen. Best Wishes

She may hav a bladder infection you need to see the vet to rule out any medical problems.

Definitely eliminate a medical problem with a vet check. There are medical issues that could create a need to urinate often in older animals. Also, make sure the towels you replace each night, have no scent of urine still in them. If she has to urinate and she smells her "spot" , she will continue to urinate there.

My oler dog started doing this.I would ask your vet to examine her.I think it may just come with age but get her checked to be sure.I use "old roy" bedding pads.I bought some at Wal-mart in the pet department. They are cheap enough & work great. They catch most of the flow if not all of it,,then you just roll it up & toss it.I also use baby wipes to clean my dog between baths.
